Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) modules that can be tailored to meet your company’s objectives.

Our Driver CPC training is designed to meet the standard of compulsory periodic training for vocational drivers with the emphasis on driver and operator compliance, environmental awareness to improve fuel efficiency, road safety with specific training regarding vulnerable road users and to promote vocational driving as a career within the UK and the EU.

Course Description

Module A – To improve drivers’ understanding of drivers’ working hours, regulations, use of Tachographs and to minimise errors in compliance.

Module B – To prompt professionalism in the way drivers deal with vulnerable road users, and is an excellent introduction to the FORS SUD and VS courses.

Module C – To ensure drivers understand the need for efficient daily vehicle checks and fully appreciate their responsibilities to ensure both driver and company compliance.

Module D – To understand the basic principles of safe and fuel efficient driving and to establish best professional driving practice.

Module E – To ensure drivers can load their vehicle safely and understand the basics of manual handling and fire safety and fully appreciate their responsibilities to ensure both driver and company compliance.

Course Duration & Delegate numbers

The Driver CPC course is 7 hours and can contribute a full day towards the 35 hours Driver CPC that professional drivers need. The course consists of two 3 ½ hour modules

(both modules are delivered on the same day).

Our company can facilitate classes of varying sizes up to a maximum of 24 people per course.
